Perfect Christmas Nails ♥

I know Christmas is still weeks away, but I get too excited. I love all the glitter and sparkle, and that's exactly what I like to see on my nails at this time of year! Just a quick little post to show you my nails after using Sephora Gold Fever and Models Own Bare Beauty.
I love that with the Sephora nail varnish, you can build it up so you can have it super sparkly! I think it's so pretty, especially when it hits the light. I also think it looks perfect with pink shades, so the Models Own Bare Beauty is perfect!

What do you think of sparkly nails?

Models Own in Thunder & Lightning ♥

Just a quick post to show you my nails at the moment. Another Models Own nail varnish in Thunder & Lightning has to be my favourite nail varnish at the moment. It's so pretty and sparkly, and definitely perfect for Halloween! The consistency is quite watery at first, so it did take me three coats to get the colour I wanted.

You can also purchase Thunder and Lightning from the Models Own website, found HERE. Are you doing anything Halloween inspired with your make up? I wish I could be a little more creative with my nails, but it wouldn't go down so well at work!

My Weekend In Paris: Day Two (photo heavy) ♥

On Saturday I went to the Paris Bridge by the Notre Dame. It's amazing and so romantic....over the years (I'm thinking at least 25 years), couples in love have been locking padlocks to the Paris Bridge with love messages. It's really quite beautiful- so colourful and pretty. Here are a few photos.

The last photo is my favourite....this is either the couples pet name, or somebody that loves cake and pie! I reckon there are millions of these padlocks s both sides of the bridge are completely covered. Another modern bridge not far from this one, is also starting to be covered with padlocks...I would love to see this come to a city in England. I could have read the messages for hours though...some were so romantic!

My Weekend In Paris: Day One (photo heavy) ♥

So Paris this weekend was amazing...I've taken nearly 300 photos, so I'll blog each day with photos.
On Friday, me and my friend went to the Notre Dame and The Eiffel Tower. I've absolutely loved Paris. This is my third time, and I still find it really beautiful.

Notre Dame:

The Eiffel Tower:

The weather was beautiful on the Friday, and it was so lovely to walk around the park and enjoy the views of The Eiffel Tower. I'm always blown away by how beautiful it is every time I visit. It's very romantic...me and my friend saw a couple having their wedding photos taken in the park by the tower- what a perfect place to have your photos! It has been an amazing weekend, and I can't wait to blog tomorrow with more Paris photos from Saturday!

Bonjour, Paris! ♥

Just a quick post to let you know that I'm off to Paris for a few days, so I won't be blogging! This is my third time to Paris and I can't wait! I'm excited to take photos and write about my time there. So Bon voyage!

I've visited many of the tourist attractions in Paris, but never been to the top of the Eiffel Tower...I'm petrified of heights! I'm determined to go to the top! So scary!

Have a lovely week,

Favourite colours from Models Own ♥

Just a quick post to show you the colours from Models Own that I selected from their very popular sale. As I'm sure you're all aware, Models Own just held their yearly 50% off sale, and I couldn't help but treat myself. I have to be honest, some of the shades I selected online looked a little different when they arrived, but I'm still a massive fan of the shades.
The Pink Punch shade is a little brighter than expected (it didn't look so bright online!), but I still love it. I'm a massive fan of Models Own nail varnishes. I find that they rarely chip, and last for a good week before the chipping, if any, looks really noticeable.

Did you take advantage of the Models Own sale? What do you think of these shades?

MUA Out There Plumping Lip gloss Review ♥

I hadn't tried MUA products until recently, but they are so reasonably priced that I couldn't resist. I usually stay clear of very cheap make up as I find that the quality is quite poor. MUA make up however, offers amazing quality make up at a great price. I was lucky to win some MUA goodies in a recent blogger giveaway, and this MUA lip gloss was one of them.
The lip gloss in Pink Sugar is absolutely gorgeous. It's a deep pink, with a lovely, light shimmer to it. It's a little sticky, but applies really well. I found that the colour translated really well from the wand to the lips, and I needed just one coat to get the desired colour.
It also tastes great! I sometimes find this a problem though, as I tend to lick it off! (oops!) It has a lovely, sweet smell to it but nothing too sickly and overpowering. I'm surprised at how good the quality is- it lasted a good hour on my lips before I thought I wanted to reapply. Although this doesn't seem a long time, I always find that most lip glosses disappear or smudge off easily. This gloss had good staying power, even on windy days!
It's such a beautiful colour, and so beautiful and shimmery when the light hits it. I can't believe how amazing the quality is. The lip gloss is meant to make your lips have a plumped appearance, and although I couldn't say that they do, the gloss does make my lips lovely and tingly!

MUA is available from Superdrug, or their website at £2.00.

Have you tried MUA make up?
